Intralogistics

If you want successful intralogistics, you need to efficiently manage all processes and movements within your organisation. We specialise in developing and producing plastic crates and trays for various applications, including storage, order picking, sorting and packaging. Our team of in-house engineers and extensive technical expertise gives you the result you want.

We look at key aspects such as dimensions, base flatness, noise level during use and track-and-trace technology to produce high-quality products that comply with strict standards and are fully in line with your individual requirements.

Automation and robotics

Automation is playing an ever greater role in intralogistics. That’s why our products are compatible with Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (AS/RS-systems), including shuttle and mini load systems and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). These systems must comply with strict fire safety and sprinkler standards in warehouses, such as those of FM Global and the German VdS. Our products do the same. That means they are guaranteed safe for use in automated internal logistics systems.

Data analysis when you need it

AS/RS systems are constantly improving, offering ever greater capacity for data exchange. This data is collected by various track-and-trace technologies. If the data is poor quality, the systems won’t work at their best. That’s why barcodes and QR codes need to be and remain readable. These codes can be placed as stickers or In-Mould Labels (IML).

IML fuses the label to the container to produces a high-resolution image. This also makes the product more recyclable and sustainable by reducing wear and tear and extending the product’s life. Another option is laser marking on the crate or tray. Using these identification technologies in tandem with smart dividing systems allows crates to be split into compartments or subdivided in other ways, offering a simple way to proliferate SKUs.

Hollarts can also integrate Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), a technology that uses radio waves to exchange information wirelessly. We can place a special RFID antenna or tag on your crate, allowing information to be read by a RFID reader. This information is managed in backend software to level up system efficiency.

Working together on a greener future

Our products are designed to last for years. They form a closed loop – and you’re part of it. You can easily recycle any damaged products and do your bit to create a circular economy and a brighter, greener future. We invest in environmentally friendly technologies and methods to lessen our environmental impact, using sustainable materials and production systems that reduce carbon emissions and minimise waste.

‘Hollarts’ delivers reliable solutions that enable companies to level up their operational efficiency and boost customer satisfaction, all while saving on costs and shortening turnaround times.’

Load carriers: the blind spot of supply chain optimisation

Increased work efficiency, better data management and supply chain sustainability are key reasons to explore the load carriers you use in your business processes. If a standard product is no longer fit for purpose or plain unsuited to the task, developing a made-to-measure crate, outer packaging or load carrier on castors can lead to multiple breakthroughs. Hollarts helps you take a step in the right direction.
